Volumetric pictures

Test pictures rendered with Imagine.

In this picture, green objects use the falloff attribute. The volumetric object is rendered around the object's axis with the specified size. If you specify different values for X,Y and Z, you can get a disc, a rod or an ovale shape.
Objects without falloff have harder edges and therefore are more difficult to assemble.

Object is a cube, 300 units in size. Falloff : 150/100/20: thin oval disc shape
Col 1&2 : Scattering = 20
Col 3&4 : Scattering = 10
Col 2&4 : use in shadows rays too = unchecked
Col 1&3 : use in shadows rays too = checked
Line 1 : Noise2 size X = Y = Z = 5
Line 2 : Noise2 size X = Y = Z = 15
Line 3 : Noise2 size X = Y = Z = 45
